Downtown Barcelona is a place you could visit as many times as you like and will always be full of surprises.
Architecture is the first thing you will be amazed about, hundreds of amazing buildings from different times and styles will catch your eye one after another. from Passeig de Gracia to Via Laietana, to the Roman Walls, to El Raval, you may get a neckache looking up. Quite enjoyable, downtown architecture reveals part of the history, the lifestyle and the stories behind the windows. Then comes people.
Barcelona has become a multicultural city where you can find locals from anywhere. Sometimes it becomes difficult to know who lives there and who is visiting. All races, all nationalities and most of all mixes This magic city has attracted Latinamericans, Germans, Chinese, Brits, french, Arabs, Italians, Americans, and people from Africa and the rest of the Mediterranean. You can find surprising couples and groups of friends, amazing hairstyles, tatoos, clothing and music in the local cafés.
And after that then come the shops, the restaurants and the landmarks….I live downtown barcelona since 2007 walk it everyday and honestly feel I still got a lot to discover here.
