The Urban Portrait

One of the most exciting things of all cities in the world is not exactly how they are built or how tall their buildings are, I am not usually so impressed by crowds or big avenues or amazing malls. But I am usually very impressed by how different and diverse people are in every city in the world and of course Barcelona is not an exception to this rule. Here are some images from our Winter Photography Workshop that talk about this.

Autumn Workshops and Tours

Well the summer is over and all those sunny pictures are gone. But wait a new set of colors and emotions are just around the corner and Barcelona becomes a beauty during Fall. We have already started enjoying the new amber lights and reddish tones with the Autumn Introduction to Digital Reflex Workshops and tours for those savvy travelers that avoid summer crowds. Descubriendo Barcelona Nocturna

Nos pusimos de acurdo a través del grupo de facebook y vía email para organizar una salida de grupo a explorar técnicas de fotografía nocturna y ademas las luces de la ciudad. Nos encontramos a las 21h que en verano viene siendo el atardecer y comenzamos capturando una secuencia de la caída de la luz y las luces de la ciudad encendiendo. De allí a medida que se hacia mas oscuro fuimos bajando velocidades para explorar las exposiciones prolongadas, el dibujo con luz, la múltiple exposición y entre risas y saltos creamos fantasmas, apariciones y espantos.

La verdad que la pasamos muy bien y a media noche ya estábamos sin batería!. Pronto , la próxima! gracias a todos por venir! y Gracias a Jordi Cermeno por las fotos acompañan a este post.

Exploring the Cathedral with Nuria

Even Nuria did not have a big reflex camera, she was planning her Easter holidays with her family and wanted to have full command of her camera. Monuments are big building were a real challenge for her so we explored Barcelona´s main cathedral which is full of details, lights, people and photographic challenges. A beautiful experience on a sunny march morning.
